Lease programs

Six ways to structure the same rack.

Every lease is written around how long you will use the equipment and what you want to happen at the end. These are the structures we write most often; mixed structures inside one master agreement are normal.

Most common

Fair market value lease

Lowest monthly payment. We keep the residual value; at the end of the term you return the equipment, extend, or buy it at its then fair market value.

Term
24 – 48 months
Best for
Hardware you refresh on a cycle: compute, GPU, switching
End of term
Return · extend · buy at FMV
Own it at the end

$1 buy-out lease

A finance lease. Payments cover the full cost; at the end the equipment is yours for a nominal amount. Fixed rate, fixed term, no residual uncertainty.

Term
36 – 60 months
Best for
Long-lived gear: racks, PDUs, UPS, optical transport
End of term
Title transfers for $1
For growing fleets

Step lease

Payments start low and step up as the equipment goes into production and revenue follows. Written for hosting and cloud providers filling a new hall.

Term
36 – 48 months
Best for
New deployments with a ramp-up period
End of term
Return · extend · buy
Recurring deliveries

Master lease line

One agreement, one credit approval, many schedules. Draw equipment against an approved line over 12 – 24 months without re-papering each delivery.

Line size
from €1M
Best for
Operators adding capacity every quarter
End of term
Per schedule
Keep current

Technology refresh

Built-in option to swap equipment for a newer generation mid-term or at renewal, with the remaining obligation rolled into the new schedule.

Term
24 – 36 months, renewable
Best for
GPU and high-density compute that ages fast
End of term
Swap · return · extend
Short term

Rental

Certified pre-owned servers and switches for projects, migrations, burst capacity or a proof of concept. Shipped from stock, returned when the project ends.

Term
3 – 12 months
Best for
Projects, migrations, lab environments
End of term
Return · convert to lease
Choosing

Which program fits

The right structure depends on how long the hardware stays useful to you and whether you want to own it. This is the shortcut our team uses.

If you…ChooseWhy
Refresh compute every 3 yearsFMV lease or technology refreshLowest payment; the residual risk is ours, and you move to the next generation without selling anything.

Process

From BOM to delivery

We approve against the equipment and your operating history, not only against audited financials, which is why a term sheet takes days rather than weeks.

01

Equipment list

A vendor quote, a BOM or an inventory export. We can also source the equipment for you.

02

Term sheet

Structure, term, monthly rate and end-of-term options within five business days.

03

Documents

Master lease agreement plus a schedule per delivery. Signed electronically.

04

Delivery

Equipment ordered or pulled from stock, configured, shipped and installed. Payments start when it lands.

Questions

Before you ask

Can we lease equipment we already own?

Yes. That is a sale-and-leaseback: we buy your existing fleet at an agreed value and lease it back. See Buy-out & ITAD.

Can we lease used or refurbished hardware?

Yes, and it is often the better deal. Certified pre-owned servers and switches up to five years old carry a lower monthly rate and are available from stock.

Who insures and maintains the equipment?

You insure it while it is in your care. Maintenance can be included in the lease or kept with your vendor; either way, one invoice.

What if we need to end the lease early?

Early termination is priced into the agreement from day one: a buy-out schedule shows what the equipment costs you in any given month, so there is no negotiation later.

Which jurisdictions do you sign in?

US, EU and UAE counterparties. Documentation follows the jurisdiction where the equipment is installed.
